Last night, one of my close friends from high school got married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Park Savoy Estate in Florham Park, NJ. Love was in the air and all around as she stunned in a gorgeous Pnina dress, beautiful flowers laced the property and close friends and family celebrated their love.
One thing in particular I love about a summer wedding is the opportunity to wear fun colors instead of boring black. Color can be classic and elegant if you work it the right way. Crunched for time and not finding anything in stores that I truly loved, I figured I'd save my money and wear a beautiful coral maxi skirt I had picked up on sale from BCBG a few years back. I has an elegant little train in the back and I paired it with Kendall + Kylie crop top which has a little ruffle on the sleeve which accentuated the ruffle on the train. There is a fine line with wearing crops tops and showing too much skin, this top just shows a little window of my tummy just enough that you could tell it wasn't a dress. I felt that wearing a necklace would just be too much with the detail on the sleeves so I opted for a gorgeous pair of earrings from my jewelry collection and the perfect arm party of course!
