Direzione Taormina

This morning we set out on a three hour drive through the sicilian country side, up, down, around and through the mountains, at times with views on the ocean on our left and the mountains on our right. Talk about t a scenic route! We have done this drive a bunch of times now but each time its seems more and more beautiful! So after a long ride, we check in to our hotel and naturally the first thing we need is a drink! Our favorite spot is the Hotel Metropole which has comfortable seating, live music, a beautiful view of the coast and of course some food. My drink of choice is always Campari, its an aperitivo made from herbs including chinotto so it had a bitter taste, most people don't like it but now that I have acquired a taste for it, I love it!

I wanted to wear something that would be comfortable during the car ride, airy enough to keep me cool with the heat and chic enough to walk around Taormina because I didn't want to have to change once we got there. So I opted for a simple white tank which i tied to make it into a crop top, and black maxi skirt with a high slit which revealed the lace up sandals I just bought from Aldo! Oh and I was pinterest inspired ;) follow my board to see what will inspire you're next oufit!
