The everlong battle of where to go to dinner is easily solved at Marcony Ristorante located on on Lexington Ave in the heart of Murray Hill, NYC! Especially when taking a group of very pick sicilians who can't eat out any where because "they're cooking is the best" lol The owner Marco is my parents' long time friend and an amazing chef whose concept was to bring a little bit of Capri (his hometown) to NYC. Everything from the stuffed zucchini flowers(my favorite) grilled octopus, eggplant souffle to the homemade ravioli, pistachio encrusted halibut (obsessed with anything covered in pistachios) and zabaglione, is to die for! I could go on for days, I don't consider myself a foodie, but one thing my parents have spoiled me with is good food ;) The atmosphere is romantic yet casual with the crisp white walls and beautiful cobalt blue venetian glass chandelier, I feel like I'm on a yacht in Capri! (you just need to use your imagination a little ;) Next time you're in the area and looking for a guaranteed good meal, I highly recommend Marcony on Lex between 31st and 32nd and tell Marco I sent you! He is always willing to go above and beyond to make you feel at home!
