When summer and fall time hues collide...

The early stages of fall...that awkward stage where you're trying to hold on to your summer wardrobe for as long as you can while the other part of you is ready to bust out the heavy sweaters and darker colors. But there's nothing wrong with mixing a little bit of both! Here I was shooting my fall ad for Industry Magazine and since the ad was going to be published in September and October, I wanted to convey a very transitional look without getting too "fallish" with the typical warmer darker earth tones. So I started with an arm party that incorporated the brighter magenta jade and amazonite tones as well as the darker more fallish tones such as the Marsala Jade and Amethyst, always staying within the same hues of pinks and purples. From there I picked my favorite bright pink shoes and a teal skirt which I got on sale at Zara which highlighted the colors in my arm party. Lastly I picked a tealish shirt because I wanted a more solid pallete for my shoes and arm party to pop against! My hat and gold clutch were the perfect accessories to complement👌🏻
